How To Fix Error VC019 In BT Sport Login?

 

If you are experiencing an issue accessing the BT Sport Login webpage and seeing the VC019 error code, then that means Microsoft Silverlight plugin isn’t working on your computer. There may be several reasons like your machine specification or the version of your web browser. The BT Sport online player needs the Microsoft Silverlight plugin to protect against video piracy.

Fix the problem by following the below-mentioned steps:

1.      You should use a different web browser or clear the cache of the browser. To clear the cache of your browser, follow these steps:

a.      Click on the web browser’s settings or Tools button.

b.      Select Internet Options.

c.       Go to the ‘General’ tab and under ‘Browser History’, you need to click the ‘Delete’ button.

d.      Select the option that says, ‘Temporary Internet Files’ followed by pressing ‘Delete’.

e.      Now, refresh your web browser and then log in to BT Sport online player again.

In case, your BT Sport player takes a bit long to load, then you need to delete mspr.hds file to clear PlayReady cache. Now, you should restart your web browser and BT Sport player.

1.      Right-click ‘BT Sport online video player’ followed by selecting ‘Silverlight’.

2.      From the ‘Microsoft Silverlight Configuration’ screen, you need to select the ‘Playback’ tab followed by ticking on ‘Enable download and updates to components required for protected content playback’ option.

3.      Click ‘OK’, then refresh your web browser to check if BT Sport online player.
